PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting community recovery following disasters, including by strengthening the education sector in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Through a support program for teachers and students, Telkom is helping to re-establish a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for children affected by the earthquake.

The initiative, held at SDN Reo 1 and SDN Reo 2 in Manggarai Regency, included capacity building for teachers through a Training of Trainers (ToT) session attended by 30 educators. The training focused not only on instructional support skills but also on helping teachers recognize and respond to students' emotional states, as well as managing their own emotional well-being during the post-disaster recovery process.

In addition to supporting teachers, Telkom provided guidance to 150 students through various activities designed to help them resume social interaction and rekindle their enthusiasm for learning. These activities incorporated games, group interactions, creative exercises, and an introduction to digital technology, all delivered in a fun atmosphere tailored to the needs of children in the aftermath of a disaster.

Hery Susanto, Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility at Telkom Indonesia, stated that post-disaster recovery requires comprehensive support, including ensuring teachers possess adequate capabilities and children have a safe space to recover emotionally.

“As a company operating in the digital sector, Telkom not only provides technological support but also strives to deliver relevant social benefits to the community. By strengthening teacher capabilities, providing student support, and supplying learning facilities and connectivity, we hope to help schools and children in Manggarai bounce back and resume their learning activities more effectively,” said Hery.

To support the continuity of the learning process, Telkom has also provided several facilities: two emergency tents, two Telkomsel Orbit connectivity packages, 10 tablet packages, and 150 "Healing Kits." This support is intended to help schools maintain a conducive learning environment while providing students with the means to resume learning and engage in activities together.

This support is part of Telkom’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable education, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. Telkom believes that ensuring the continuity of education following a disaster requires collaboration among various stakeholders so that children retain the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop.

Driven by the spirit of *Bersama Jadi Bisa* (Together We Can), Telkom remains dedicated to making contributions that deliver tangible benefits to the community, including support for educational recovery in disaster-affected areas.
