PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (InfraNexia) and PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) are expanding their strategic collaboration to strengthen national connectivity infrastructure by utilizing Wavenexia and Metronexia services across several strategic corridors in Indonesia.
This collaboration was marked by the signing of several Memoranda of Agreement (MoA) during the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2026 in Bali on August 27. The agreements reflect the strengthened synergy between the two companies in meeting evolving network capacity demands while supporting more efficient service expansion across various regions.
The agreement encompasses the strengthening of connectivity and the enhancement of network capacity along corridors in Kalimantan, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, and Sumatra. The scope of cooperation includes providing high-capacity connectivity via Wavenexia, increasing bandwidth on existing networks, and utilizing Metronexia services to support inter-site connectivity across several of XLSMART’s operational areas.
The synergy between InfraNexia and XLSMART also opens up opportunities for broader cooperation through the utilization of passive infrastructure—such as poles and ducts—to support network development. Shared infrastructure usage is expected to boost asset productivity, drive investment efficiency, and accelerate network expansion and development across various regions of Indonesia.
InfraNexia Commercial Director Syaiful Rahim Soenaria stated that this partnership is part of InfraNexia’s commitment to providing infrastructure capable of sustainably supporting the growing connectivity needs of customers.
“We observe that the demand for network capacity continues to rise alongside increasing traffic and the need for digital services. Through this collaboration with XLSMART, InfraNexia aims to deliver infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, and adaptable to network requirements in key strategic areas. Such synergy also plays a vital role in optimizing the utilization of national telecommunications infrastructure,” Syaiful explained.
Pada kesempatan terpisah, Direktur Enterprise Strategic Relationship XLSMART Andrijanto Muljono mengatakan kolaborasi dengan mitra infrastruktur merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung pengembangan jaringan yang lebih efisien dan responsif terhadap pertumbuhan kebutuhan pelanggan.
“Pertumbuhan kebutuhan konektivitas menuntut kesiapan jaringan yang semakin tinggi, baik dari sisi kapasitas, kualitas, maupun jangkauan. Kolaborasi dengan InfraNexia menjadi salah satu langkah kami dalam memperkuat fondasi jaringan sekaligus menjaga fleksibilitas pengembangan kapasitas di sejumlah area strategis,” ujar Andrijanto.
Kolaborasi ini menjadi salah satu bukti kepercayaan pelaku industri telekomunikasi terhadap peran InfraNexia sebagai penyedia infrastruktur yang terbuka dan netral dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekosistem digital Indonesia. Dan diharapkan dapat semakin memperkuat kesiapan infrastruktur telekomunikasi di berbagai wilayah, sekaligus membuka ruang bagi pengembangan kerja sama yang lebih luas, termasuk pada pemanfaatan infrastruktur pasif, untuk mendukung jaringan yang lebih efisien, fleksibel, dan berkelanjutan.
