PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) reaffirmed its role as a driver of national digital talent development by opening the Digistar Class Intern 2026 Batch 1. This program is a continuation of the high student enthusiasm of the previous period and demonstrates Telkom's consistency in bridging the world of education with the needs of the ever-evolving digital industry.

Digistar Class Intern is an intensive five-month internship program designed to provide real-world work experience. Successful students will be directly involved in strategic projects within TelkomGroup work units and receive mentoring from professional mentors. This approach allows participants to not only understand concepts but also apply them directly in the context of the company's business and operations.

This work experience is reinforced by structured learning modules that combine the strengthening of hard skills, soft skills, and an understanding of work culture, ensuring that the learning process is not limited to theory but oriented toward professional readiness and industry needs.

"Digistar Class Intern is a concrete manifestation of Telkom's commitment to building the future of Indonesia's digital talent. This program is designed to provide a relevant, applicable, and industry-aligned learning experience, so that participants are better prepared when entering the workforce," said Telkom's Director of Human Capital Management, Willy Saelan.

This year, Digistar Class Intern is again open to active students in their sixth semester at least. The focus of competency development covers various strategic areas, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business-to-Business (B2B) Solutions, as preparation for facing the increasingly competitive dynamics of the digital industry. Registration for Digistar Class Intern 2026 Batch 1 is open from January 31 to February 8, 2026, and the entire registration process and program information can be accessed through the official platform of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises at https://magenta.bumn.go.id.

Willy added that Digistar Class Intern focuses not only on strengthening technical competencies but also on developing a professional mindset, character, and career readiness. "Participants not only learn skills, but also experience firsthand the professional work culture within the TelkomGroup environment," he explained.

At Digistar Class Intern 2025, participants had the opportunity to complete real-life TelkomGroup use cases and attend special classes led by industry practitioners. One of last year's strategic collaborations was with Palo Alto Networks, a leading global cybersecurity company.

This year, Digistar Class Intern 2026 is expected to provide a richer and more relevant experience by expanding collaborations with other industry partners, deepening the project challenges, and offering more mentoring sessions to equip participants as adaptable and impactful work-ready digital talent.

As part of long-term talent management, Digistar Class Intern 2026 is integrated with Telkom's Candidate Relationship Management System (CRMS). This integration enables Telkom to build sustainable relationships with potential talent and serves as a foundation for mapping and developing future digital talent.

Digistar is a digital talent development ecosystem initiated by Telkom, encompassing various programs to improve competency, leadership skills, and professional work experience. Throughout 2025, various Digistar initiatives, such as Digistar Connect, Digistar Community, and Digistar Club, have reached more than 35,000 participants across Indonesia. Further information about Digistar can be accessed through Instagram @LivinginTelkom and the website https://www.digistartelkom.id.

Telkom remains committed to implementing all programs openly, accountably, and with integrity. All parties are encouraged to always access official information through trusted channels and to be vigilant against potential fraud. The entire Digistar Class Intern program is free of charge, in line with the implementation of an ISO 37001:2016-based Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) as part of efforts to maintain transparency and good governance.
