PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), operating in the data center ecosystem field, is once again holding the NeutraDC Summit 2025 with the theme “AI Collaboration” in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Monday (25/8). This annual event boasts high enthusiasm from participants, including industry leaders, regulators, investors, and technology experts from the Asia-Pacific region. This strategic forum serves as an important platform to discuss the future of artificial intelligence (AI) while emphasizing the role of digital infrastructure in driving economic ecosystem growth in the region.
The event was opened by Seno Soemadji, Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio at Telkom. He conveyed a message about the importance of collaboration in building Indonesia's digital future. “Through the NeutraDC Summit, we want to affirm that collaboration is the key to building Indonesia's digital future. Only through strategic cooperation can we create a resilient and relevant AI ecosystem,” said Seno.
In line with the statement, Honesti Basyir, Director of Wholesale & International Service at Telkom, emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration in strengthening regional AI infrastructure. “The Asia-Pacific region needs closer connectivity for AI to truly make a tangible impact. Cross-country, cross-industry, and cross-technology collaboration will be fundamental to the growth of the AI ecosystem in the region,” Honesti explained.
In a significant moment at the event, NeutraDC officially introduced two of its latest solutions: Neutra Compute and Neutra Connect. These innovative products are designed to meet the rapidly growing needs of AI infrastructure.
Neutra Compute is available as GPU-as-a-Service, allowing companies to directly access high-performance AI computing power without having to invest heavily in building infrastructure from scratch. Meanwhile, Neutra Connect strengthens the digital ecosystem through faster, more stable, and seamless data center interconnection services. This product becomes an essential foundation for companies focusing on collaboration and accelerating digital transformation.
"The launch of Neutra Compute and Neutra Connect is concrete evidence of our commitment to go beyond the function of a data center infrastructure. We want to make the data center not just a storage place, but a driving force for innovation and acceleration of the AI ecosystem in Indonesia and Southeast Asia," said Andreuw Th.A.F, CEO of NeutraDC Group.
At the same event, NeutraDC also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sembcorp Development, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, to develop sustainable data center infrastructure in the Southeast Asia region, focusing on Singapore and Indonesia. This collaboration will combine NeutraDC’s advantages of having a network of 32 data centers in Southeast Asia with Sembcorp’s experience in green energy and urban infrastructure solutions. The initial focus of the collaboration is the development of data centers in Indonesia and Singapore, with a vision of creating globally competitive low-carbon data centers.
"This collaboration reinforces NeutraDC’s commitment to building a sustainable data center ecosystem. With green energy and strong regional connectivity, we aim to make SIJORI (Singapore, Johor, and Riau – through Batam) a regional digital hub, while strengthening NeutraDC's presence in the region through expansion plans in Singapore and growth opportunities in Southeast Asian markets such as the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam," explained Andreuw Th.A.F.
Meanwhile, Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Urban Solutions at Sembcorp, Gareth Wong, expressed his enthusiasm for this ongoing collaboration. "We are very excited to partner with NeutraDC to deliver a new generation of low-carbon data centers. This synergy will support the acceleration of digital transformation while transitioning towards sustainable energy in the region," said Gareth Wong.
With the spirit of collaboration and the launch of innovative products, NeutraDC Summit 2025 further establishes its position as a strategic event for the technology industry in the region. The event is also supported by several renowned sponsors, including Huawei Tech Investment, PP-Adhi (KSO), and AMD, who contributed to the summit's success.
"NeutraDC Summit is a shared journey. After discussing The Other Side of AI last year, this year, we are taking a step further with How to Develop AI through the topic 'AI Collaboration.' Next year, we will return with a larger-scale Summit and topics oriented towards education for business development," concluded Andreuw.
As an annual agenda, NeutraDC Summit will continue to be an important meeting point for the technology ecosystem. The next event, NeutraDC Summit 2026, is ready to present new insights and AI discussions that are increasingly relevant for the region and the world.
